SimtronicDJ Real Name: Simphiwe Gama Home Town: Nhlangano, Swaziland Current Town: Pretoria, South Africa Occupation: Bashana Entertainment co-founder Simtronic started DJ’ing in 2011 as a PC dj along with friends and part of a group called Bashana Entertainment. He was exposed to the music industry greats when he attended the South African Music Awards that same year. That inspired him to begin his surge to the top.In 2012 where he shared most of his highlights which include: March 2012 he became the University Of Pretoria’s McDonalds Top Jock by beating 4 other hopefuls to become Tuks’ best DJ. He even got to share a set with one of South Africa’s leading young DJs, Euphonik (5FM and Soul Candi) and has played along the likes of Ralf Gum, Black Coffee, Fresh and a lot more. He has played in the country, all-over South Africa and abroad. Simtronic now has his own radio show in London with Smash Radio UK (online station) where he has been able to share the sounds of Africa with the people of England, with over 1000 subscribers already tuning in every Wednesday 21h00 - 22h00 (London Time). He is also part of the RedTopThursday crew.
