Sin Conviction and condemnation are two different things. Condemnation comes from the devil. Conviction comes from God. Conviction is the work of the Holy Spirit in our spirit to convict, to draw and woo us to God, and to bring repentance, healing, and restoration of fellowship with God. Conviction helps us grow in the Lord. Condemnation is a tool of the enemy to make us feel that because we sinned, God doesn’t love us anymore and makes us think that we are not a child of God like we thought we were. Condemnation causes people to give up and live defeated lives or to turn from walking with Jesus altogether. There is no condemnation in Christ, but there is conviction.
