Since 1921, the red bricks of Gallaudet Hall provided a safe - TopicsExpress

Since 1921, the red bricks of Gallaudet Hall provided a safe learning haven for students at the American School for the Deaf. Today, aside from the cafeteria, that iconic structure remains mostly deserted. Directly in front of Gallaudet Hall, a new vision is taking shape. Once the $20 million new construction is complete, all 175,000 square feet that comprise Gallaudet Hall will forever disappear. We understood that not everyone is on board with the demolition that is planned in 2014! We are sadly and miss this Gallaudet old build. Therefore a group of Concerned Alumni recently started a petition at Change.org to tried and save the building. So far, there are about 475 signatures from supporters that do not want to see Gallaudet Hall go quietly into that good night. So, we always memories about this Gallaudet old build! Thank to Marina Lynette for video at American School for the Deaf Gallaudet build demolition.
