Since 2002 when I started as a student employee at the USGS library in Menlo Park, to 2003 when I moved to a geochemistry lab in Boulder, to nine different research trips to Yellowstone National Park, I have had the privilege and pleasure of working at the USGS. But graduate school is forcing me to leave the Survey because I cant make minimum hours. Its sad but its the best split I can imagine. Been a hell of a terrific ride, USGS, I will miss you.
