Since Eleyna became aware of Disneyland and could speak, she has whispered in my ear, “Nana, let’s you and me go to Disneyland!” I keep telling her, “One day your wish will come true!” Well, come Thursday we will be on our way to the Magic Kingdom. My only dilemma is how to break the news to her. How do you tell a 6 yr old her heart’s desire is about to come true?! I’m thinking we’ll wait until the night before and give her a box to open. Inside will be a new princess outfit for her to wear. We’ll tell her that she can wear it to some place really special and then remind her of what she’s been whispering in my ear for years now. I imagine there will not be enough words to describe her reaction or the smile on her face. Here’s to all the dreamers in the world….keep on dreaming for it may come true!
