Since I am traveling to New York next week and have still not passed my kidney stones, I am trying Lee Chambers recommendation to do the Coke and asparagus treatment. I did a lot of research and there are people who swear by the treatment. You drink 2 liters of Coke and follow it with 8 oz. of pureed asparagus. I managed to get the Coke down with no problem. However, I hate asparagus and am gagging it down. I made it into a soup, but it tastes worse as a soup than it does whole. Supposedly, the combination of the two will devolve the kidney stones within 24 hours. We will see. I have not been in pain, but they are still there like a dull back ache. I just did not want to go on a trip and have them act up while traveling. Lets hope this works!
