Since, I came back from APR Youth Forum in 2012, it was my dream and goal to run a proper Youth Forum in SL. To a greater extend I achieved at the recently concluded CCISJ 2014 - Colombo Centenary International Scout Jamboree. where we conducted a successful Jamboree Forum with the participation of scouts and guides from 12 countries. It was inspiring to see my brothers and sisters making maximum use of the opportunity and coming up with great discussion outcomes. A big thank you to everyone who helped me in this endeavor, but my main goal is yet to be accomplished. That is to organize a National Scout Youth Forum in SL before my tenure as the National YAMG Coordinator ends in October next year, when the next APR Youth Forum takes place in Korea. Empowering Youth involvement in decision making is always a challenge anywhere you go, yet as Youth Representatives, it our duty to take up that challenge on behalf of all that we represent!
