Since I had green on my mind, I decided to swatch one of my most unusual polishes - Megan Miller Caribbean. Its a gorgeous blue/green jelly, which means what youre seeing is 4 coats of polish on my pinkie and middle finger. It looks see through and squishy, with some VNL (visible nail line - like panty lines, but on my fingers). I dont mind those, but they drive other people nuts. On my ring finger (Makeup Store Alma) and pointer (Wet N Wild Spontaneous Combustion), I did what is called a jelly sandwich. I did four coats of my base polish, then the glitter and *then* another coat of jelly polish over everything. It softens the look and is just so pretty to me. Theres no top coat on here - its that shiny by itself. The bad thing is that it takes *forever* for this to all dry, and since Im headed back to the bed, Im betting Ill wreck it pulling the blankets back. Oh well... at least I have photos to remember it by. LOL
