Since July 2014, ICC match officials have reported five spinners -- Sri Lankas Sachitra Senanayake, Pakistans Saeed Ajmal, New Zealands Kane Williamson, Zimbabwes Prodper Utseya & Bangladeshs Sohag Gazi for suspect action. All five have been banned from bowling in international cricket. But maybe this is coming 20 years too late.. Former ICC Elite umpire Darrell Hair, recently named 3 players & said that they were allowed to prosper in spite of foul bowling action!! We have a generation of chuckers on your hands today because they try to emulate .... ! While Bishen Singh Bedi openly spoke about it, I remember having personally spoken to 3 Great Indian cricketers who have privately said that ALL 3 of them Chucked when they wanted to & they did that for sure when they bowled the Doosra !!! Thats why Shane Warne (obviously arguably- Our Original Awesome Foursome were no less to anyone) remains the greatest Spinner of All Time.. PS: Now lets not be biased! Sports is Sports is Sports !! I am aware of ALL the stats about HOW MANY times these bowlers may have been cleared by the ICC & that is the point !! Experts say that ICC has a flawed system & crackdown should have happened years back!! ICC should have let it be known that it wasnt acceptable...
