Since October is adopt a shelter dog month, I will do my best to share and post some wonderful dogs in need of a forever home. Ill start with my foster brother, Herman. Herman is an 8 year old Cojack (Corgi/Jack Russell) or Chigi (Chihuahua/Corgi). He was rescued by Alive Rescue in July 2013. Yes...over a year ago. He could not walk because all his toe nails were grown into his feet. He could not hear because his ears were so infected. (He can hear now...when he wants to. BOL!) He hurt everywhere cause his skin was so infected. Because he never knew love and only abuse, it takes him a while to trust. Do you blame him? Once he gets to know people, he sure can make them laugh! Mom says hes come a long way! We see a lot of smiles from him, especially when hes working out at Integrative Pet Care, sniffing at Nosework class, or walking in the park! We love him just like hes one of our own, but fostering is not forever. Instead we are getting him ready for forever, by showing him how great a home with love can be.
