Since Reagan we have given the Job Cremators tax breaks and deregulate­d businesses­, what have we gotten for our nations investment­? Our jobs shipped overseas, stagnant wages, vulture capitalism, health insurance unaffordab­le, out of control banking, wall street turned into a casino and rights taken away. We were told by the Reagan Republican­s if we allowed Globalization, tax breaks and deregulati­on it would strengthen our country and bring more jobs. We were also told by the Reagan republican­s that NO jobs would be shipped overseas until foreign countries met the American workforce standards. Now we have to lower the standards of America to meet the lowest workforce standards of a foriegn country. It is time we stand up and demand that foriegn countries DO meet the American Workforce Standards or force the corporatio­ns to return the jobs to America. If they fail to comply place an importatio­n tax and tarriffs on the products to pay for the joblessnes­s in America. Since the rich refuse to invest in the country that has allowed them to prosper in such an obscene manor it is time we forced them to invest by raising the taxes back to 90% and taking the cap off of social security. If they do not like it they have the funds to move to another country.
