Since many of our hilariously insightful comments are being deleted on the greatest message board since probably Supercult, I would like to give a warning to all of the bands that are going to play Deathscape. When this does poorly turn out wise and liquor sales are below the insane expectations of the mgmt of Paparazzi (not Sonar just to clear that up) it will be the bands that will be blamed. It wont be the ownerships terrible and tasteless decisions. It wont be the promoter who has hidden behind the name of a dead club. They will blame you (and maybe some of us on the internet here). I look forward to checking many of your bands out at future shows but I honestly think my face would implode if I ever walked back into Paparazzi. My band wasnt asked to play Deathfest and thats cool because maybe we dont fit the bill, maybe they get a billion requests maybe they dont like us. But glomming on to this nonsense Im pretty sure is a way to make your shit seem pretty counterfeit. If you want to play festivals try to play festivals. If you cant get on them thats ok too. But dont sell yourself out at least for anything less than Scion or Redbull money. Sonar crew forever.
