Since most folks are super busy at this time of year, we decided to have a board member (and spouses) only meeting for this month. We met tonight at the Ponderosa in Jackson to have our meeting and a little Christmas get together. Unfortunately, two of our board members couldnt make it tonight and we missed them a great deal. Please pray for Sandys husband, who is having some health issues. We were able to discuss several issues including applications for assistance, our Christmas project, our upcoming Spring fundraiser and several other issues. We have decided to change our meeting date to the second Monday of each month instead of the first Monday, in the hopes that our time will not conflict with the meeting time of so many other groups and allow for more folks to attend our meetings. We had a wonderful fellowship this evening and when we were done, we asked for Gods guidance as we left Ponderosa and went across the street to Krogers to practice some random acts of kindness. We felt led to help 3 families by paying for their grocery bill tonight and were able to share His love with them. We also talked to the supervisor in charge and 3 or 4 cashiers and shared our information with them. Jackson County is one of the counties within our service area, yet this was our first opportunity to reach out to folks there. It was an awesome feeling and I will never forget it! Giving Him the praise for making it all possible!! Watch for videos coming soon!
