Since my oldest daughter loves to blow me up on FB – tonight I am blowing her up. Tonight Aisha told me that she was changing roles for a minute and that she was going to be the parent and I had to be the child. She then asked me “dad are you sure you are ready to get married?” I said “yes”. She then said to me, “Dad I know you and you are stubborn, you must learn to more accepting”. Who is this kid???? She then told me how proud she is to have a dad who lives his life to the fullest and doesn’t care about other’s opinions. She then went on to be the parent, of which I will keep between us. Tonight meant so much as my oldest coached, chided and loved on her dad. This is the life I have prayed, worked and pained for. #prouddad
