Since my post about oil price got unprecedented response, I thought I should speak further on the same. I request central govt. to bring down the oil price with subsidies for the same. Not just that, also ensure all the hikes made in the name of fuel tariff are reversed and hereafter tightly monitored. Food prices to services to anything that consume fossil fuel directly or indirectly should be monitored to avoid exploitation. This will help middle class save money which can be spend on children education, better health care and even better spending capacity which all will benefit economy. Also, only 3% of our population pay income tax. Its an injustice to tax only 3%. Why not lower the tax levels to 5%-10% and add more people to tax coverage?? Hope to hear more views and adjectives :-)
