Since the subject has turned to THE TWILIGHT ZONE, Thought Id impart a funny story. The first time I ever saw the episode 22 was right after Viacom had replaced the Kinescope prints of the VideoTape episodes with the VideoTape versions (Remember how rough Long Distance Call looked due to tape age?)...so its around 1984 (Im 16 or so) I had already been a fan for a couple of years, ..Middle of the night, Big Old B&W TV in my room hooked up to Cable on a Friday-Saturday overnight, maybe 1am - WPIX-11 New York is running the show. Its also the First time I saw any of the 6 VT episodes from tape and thought it was great - had a different feel. So, get to end part, Barbara Nichols character freak out and the plane takes out...AND EXPLODES! I FREAK OUT! My God - They blew up a plane for The Twilight Zone THAT IS HOW EFFECTIVE the effect looked on Video Tape! My heart is racing and I am sweating...and I couldnt sleep that night....So clearly it held up over 20 years! :) youtu.be/qHpKHzNGUJM
