Since we will be slow next week at work, and I should have a lot - TopicsExpress

Since we will be slow next week at work, and I should have a lot of time off ( dont know for sure yet ) , Iam going to start working on my belly and training for next years Peachtree Road Race. I plan to lose a lot of weight and run it a lot faster than last year and the year before. I will do a lot of training with the weights and log in a lot of miles every week. I plan to run 2.2 miles a day for the first week and go up 1.1 miles every week all while keeping track of my times per 1.1 mile and going faster every 1.1 mile every time I go out. In other words, If I run 22:30 for 2.2 miles one day, the next day that I go out I will have to run under that time. My ultimate goal for next years race is to run the 6.2 mile course in under 33 minutes ( the fastest time this year for those over 50 years old). If it is raining outside, Ill do my running at L.A. Fitness on the treadmill , but 98% of my running will be outside. Then I will spend 2-3 hours at the gym 5 days a week , probably splitting them up so I can go before and after work. On my days off I have been known to spend 5 hours there. Its going to be a lot of work but it will be well worth it.
