Since when did a college education become a right and not a privilege? Entitlement: Now handed down to greedy children raised by these mothers, see below, and entitled children raised by intact loving parents. When we have laws, statutes, etc. that indicate that post divorce a child is entitled to expect the same lifestyle he had while an intact family, and that children should not suffer financially because of divorce - well, children are suffering mostly from the act of divorce alone. This is a false reality setting children up for entitlement and unrealistic and unfair expectations. It is not the duty of parents to pay for a college education, nor is it their responsibility. Spoiled entitled brats mostly raised by spoiled, evil, entitled mothers who defraud fathers. ----------------------------------------------- Still maintaining my viewpoint on Cannings spoiled mentality and shameful behavior towards the very parents who love and brought her into this world. That said, at least shes accepting the 50k Scholarship awarded from the University she chose. Sadly, an 18 year old we know is refusing to accept a full 4 year 33k+ scholarship to a University they provided as one of their choices, and that the Defendant agreed upon. Instead, they filed a lawsuit against the Defendant to enforce a different college choice as an obligation to pay costs exceeding 100k to an out of state academic institution that the Defendant did not agree upon. Further, it was recently discovered that they made zero efforts to apply for any scholarships at this out of state university in assisting the Defendant with costs if forced by a Family Court to pay such costs. A clear and concise example of purely punitive measures against an innocent and targeted parent financially supporting the very individuals who continuously instigate frivolous lawsuits. Though they have been informed by a member of the Family Court that their case has, no dispute of material facts,.... they continue with frivolous motions filed without merit.
