Sincere thanks for your patience while we work through some upgrades at our tower site in Commerce. For some background: Weve engaged the service of a crew to replace the lighting system on our broadcast tower. As their skilled team climbs the height of the tower, it becomes necessary for our engineering staff to lower - and in some cases, completely disengage - our transmitters power. This is a safety precaution for the personnel who must approach our antenna in close proximity. The recent winds over the past few weeks have also caused a delay in the completion of this important work - high winds dont bode well for individuals attached to rope hanging 100 meters over the ground! In the meantime, we hope youve rediscovered our improved audio stream available at ketr.org both from your computers browser and from your smartphone. Weve used this time to make marked adjustments to the quality and consistency of the product we deliver online, and we hope youll bookmark the stream on all your favorite devices for quick reference. We apologize for any inconveniences you might suffer by our recent episodes of temporary downtime on your radio. Your patience will be rewarded by a better, more consistent news and entertainment channel - something we know you expect from us, and something we delight in providing every moment of every day. -Jerrod Knight, GM
