Singapore, South Korea, China, and Japan have employed top 5% of elementary education degree students to teach their elementary students. Recent studies have now shown that these Asian countries are among the top 5 excellent students in Math and Science in the world. USA is on the 27th place in Math. I believe that PNG needs to invest into equipping our teachers with proper knowledge and work ethics. We also need to let well qualified teachers to teach our elementary students. A tall building is as good as its strong foundation. Let us start building strong foundation by investing in our children and its teachers.
