Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue said "Sinn Féin have been told that a document is currently circulating in the Department of Social Development stating that 1600 jobs will be lost in the DHSS/Housing Executive because of the outworking of Welfare Cuts and the rundown of the Housing Executive. Our Housing spokesperson Tony Hassan has called on the on the Minister to confirm if the document exists.
