Sir, just to confirm if the qs provide the FVNCI then v should use full goodwill If they do not provide the FVNCI it means v need to calculate ourself then it should be partial goodwill am I right?? For qs in Dec11 TRAVELER the goodwill calculated for DATA is using FULL goodwill but for CAPTIVE v need to capture in partial goodwill coz there r no FVNCI given?? If yes....why in one company v can use different ways to calculate goodwill? why not like depreciation just one method can be choose?
