Site Services Technician - Didcot, Oxfordshire Rate of Pay - £23,460 pa Hours of work – 37.5 hours per week We are currently recruiting for Site Services Technician to take ownership, maintain and support the site buildings, plants and facilities. Specific experience/qualifications required: You will be part of the on-site team and will carry out support tasks including minor infrastructure repairs and general lighting repairs, site landscaping work, basic handyman and DIY tasks as required. The role will also entail monitoring contractor service agreements and ensuring all Health & Safety method of work documents are adhered to. The successful person will ideally have previous experience and knowledge in electrical, refrigeration, heating and ventilation. However, candidates with an aptitude and willingness to develop skills with intensive training and a long term learning plan will be considered. The role will be based on days but requires flexibility of hours, and the ability to work unsociable hours / shifts to respond to plant breakdowns and call out response times. Essential Skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels, along with the ability to bridge the gap between technical language and the end users. Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively whilst managing multiple work streams to tight time lines. The ability to follow instructions and use of own initiative and an aptitude to develop skills with intensive training Self motivating and proactively able to identify improvement opportunities and effectively deliver quality workmanship. Flexibility to work unsociable hours / shifts and ability to respond to site call outs.
