Sitting at a stop light tonight, we got hit full on by two vehicles running a red light. I heard a scream. It happened so quickly as I turned my head. We bounced between the two vehicles. The screaming was eternal. Your life really does flash before your eyes. I grabbed for my sons hand or leg, and it was difficult to process what was happening. The noise of the hit is still ringing in my ears and then the feeling of sliding into the traffic out of control pushed by the force of the vehicle at fault and into the other vehicle. Im prayerfully thankful that I was sitting where I was and had not pulled out any further into the busy intersection. Alyssa and I couldnt have made it had we been hit full on sideways. We jumped out of our seemingly totalled vehicle while liquid poured out of the bottom. Front and side destroyed. Tires flat/gone.....We grabbed our things and just stared in shock turning in circles trying to make sense of it all!!! I could barely answer their questions. I didnt remember what words meant what.........We are home safe and sound, but this song is in my mind. It always has been in my mind since I was very young. Many things about tomorrow, I dont seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand........Thanking God to have my kids with me tonight - safe and sound in my home and in my arms!!!!!
