Sitting at dinner eating lobster and enjoying my fam on the last cruise night and I see people hovering In a circle and I said its performance time. Meaning the waiters perform and sing etc. Well NO that wasnt it a lady passed out her chair and landed on the floor and people stood there without a clue. I go over tell them Im a nurse and ask lady for permission to assess her. Has hypotensive history and based on her symptoms it indicate her blood pressure was low. I ask nicely pls call the nurse we need her bp checked. They barely move I asked a little nicer they barely moving then that 4A/B cardiac nurse when a patient going bad quick came out of me and I said get her here now or I will go get this equipment myself! I elevated her feet she became diaphroetic but has no diabetes according to her. They got wheel chair since the nurse still hadnt arrived. Got her to the chair made it to elevator before it could open she collapsed out the chair to floor. Told them lets get her on we back and elevate her feet and call the got DAYUM nurse again! Elevator opened nurses came her bp on the floor! Took her to the nurses area to bolus her with fluids. Best part shes gonna be ok and her husband and herself thanked me and said they will never forget what I did to help her. My pleasure although people got an eye full cause I was in a mini dress and booted over this patient to help her. Embarrasing but owe well. That was my indicator vacay over back to work I go Friday!
