Sitting here at the shore... A few people walking around..mostly couples.. A lone fisherman;a poor guy scrathing through the dirtbins...people across the road at the restaurant... a little girl and her dad running into the water.. Screaming laughter as her dad playfully tosses her into the cold water... Then a loud noise as a police helicopter up above shines its bright search light across the ocean in search of who knows what... I think about Kay and the recent day we spent at this same ocean...remains of other peoples sandcastles being washed away by the rising tide... The waves wash away my pain as they gently roll in and out... I leave and slowly drive toward home... Trying to clear my mind of the little girl and her loving dad holding her gently in his arms... Now I sit and watch a movie and somehow in my minds eye I can see more clearly... The lighthouse at the end of the ocean as it casts its light upon us.. The great mountain behind me as I view the foaming waves;like a sleeping giant... Only but a few months ago we climbed it and explored its portion... Its beauty now hidden by the dark... Protectively this great Rock holds back... Baboons and snakes every other insect and creed hidden from my eyes... Ill be back... We will be back... Be calm and watch the movie...lol... Enjoy the night all... Sweet dreams to one and all...
