Sitting in my little hut alone, thinking what God has done for me - TopicsExpress

Sitting in my little hut alone, thinking what God has done for me throughout the whole year of 2013. Indeed 2013 marked a turning point for my life. If it wasnt for His grace i would be running up and down the ghetto or graduated to a higher form of hoodlumism. I thank my mother and God the most high that I hanged around with people who were not intellectually bankrupted and that he granted me with a gift of philosophical mindset, indeed you are the most high. Edzisani Madzunya and Steven Maluleke will forever be part of my success story, for they showed me the right path as my elders whom I respect. Many things started to make sense after their intervention, i became a responsible citizen who help other citizens to reach their dreams. In February when I started with classes, I never thought I will enjoy as much. Working at Univen FM gave me clear direction of what I want to acheive in life. I met interesting people who inspired me in many possible ways, I wonder if I was roaming the streets of the ghetto where would I gained that tremedous exiperience. Big up to Takalani Muavha, Rifanae Dombo, Heavy T and my friend Rotondwa Nelwamondo aka Rotlas. I would be lying if I say I dont take pride in setting-up Vhamanndafhadzi Foundation to be an up running and progressive project. I also have to acknowledge people who helped me to set it up, I wouldnt do justice if I fail to mention these souls that gave me unconditional support Maluleke Ndou Emmanuel, Ndou Khetho, Bongiwe Madonsela, Zikwe Victor, Advocate Victor Muumba, Khathutshelo Mukwevho, Siyabonga Ramalwa, Gamelihle Ncube, Zandiswa Ntuli, Sharon Mhlanga, Michelle Munyai, Wanga Comfort Ndou, Nomfanelo Ndlovu, Samkezi Ngubane, Mpho Nedoboni, Vhutshilo Tshigoba, Mvenda Ndou, Itani Victor Mutavhatsindi, Mavis Ngozo, Talukanyo Netshivhale, Vutomi Ngubane, Peace Ubombo, to mention but few. I am also greatful for all grade 12 learners I helped to restore their pride and dignity through my education Gospel. I was touched by their respond to my project that indeed it is a wonderful thing that I was doing for the community. Giving back to the community gave me new perceptions about life, that we dont give because we have much but because its our moral obligation to fulfil. In those hours I spend with those young and hungry for success learners I learned that South Africa is comprised with talented and gifted youth. I always knew that I had what it takes to be an A level student, just that I was kinda lazy. A special thank goes to Mr. P Dzimiri, Prof. VO Netshandama, Mrs Nakisani Nemadodzi, Mr. Sean OMalley and Dr. Mathe, not forgeting Dr. Selepe for supporting me academically and believing my abilities. It gives me greate pleasure to know that I have people who I can rely on. Growing up in the midst of poverty is of less important as im paving my ways for success. Though my success will not be measured material wise, it will be measured on the basis of how many people did I helped to get education of higher learning. Thank you the most high for 2013... Looking forward for 2014.
