Sitting in the forum with Jeanie chilling out, I noticed an old chap sitting not to far from us, having a baked potato. His hair and beard were long, but he was fairly smart and clean looking, he looked around as he ate, with a kind expression on his face. After he had finished his meal, he waited, and after awhile a waitress came over and asked if he wanted her to take his plate, he smiled and said how grateful he was of her service, and how much he enjoyed the meal (something thats quite rare for people to do in this day and age). I then watched him walk away through the crowd, then it struck me, that the aura around him was one of loneliness, and watching all the groups of people, friends and family, sitting and chatting around him, it became pretty noticeable how some people can disappear in-between the social cracks unnoticed. And a reminder how lucky we are if we have people in our lives who care for us, and know were out there somewhere, and you could never underestimate the possibility of loneliness, and the importance of people who love you. If I see the chap again, Im buying him a coffee...
