Six more hardworking hounds have been dumped at the shelter since hunting season ended in Columbus County. We need fosters who are located near the Triangle in order to help Autumn, Gulliver and Eleanor. We cant help them if we have nowhere to put them. They are often used and abused, starved (so theyll supposedly run faster on a hunt), shot at, left for dead in the woods; they are considered property, not pets under state law.
