Six years ago today I was dancing away the pain while waiting for the tub (it looked like an ark) to fill. It was raining. A great day to give birth to a baby girl, since she would be named Rain. I wasnt so convinced the baby would be a girl though. Most every one else was sure it would be, including the midwife. She was so convinced that when she pulled the baby out of the water and went to place the little bundle of joy in my arms she said, here she is. Is it really a girl? I asked. Well, let me check. Surprise! Another boy. Yay! The best part of delivering babies is learning the gender. It makes the pain worth it. And I must say, I was very happy to have another boy. And he was a big boy. 10lbs! He is a bigger handful than the other 3 combined. But I couldnt imagine a life without that strong-willed, impulsive, loving little leader. I love my Ronan sooooo much! Happy Birthday, kiddo!
