‘Slim Jim’ 12yro 16.3 OTT TB Gelding ‘Slim’ was trained and raced with our family and has a lovely nature and great personality. An absolute pleasure to handle on the ground he is easy to S/F/C. He is very friendly, will comes up to you in the paddock, and loves a wash and drinking out of the hose. He last raced 3 years ago however we were educating and using him as a riding horse while he was still racing. Slim has extremely good confirmation and three balanced floating paces. He has a super soft mouth, walk trot and canter on the buckle or in a frame. Leave him in the paddock for months and he is exactly the same as if he is in full work. This big boy has well-established flat work and would excel in the show ring or dressage arena as his flashy looks draw attention wherever he goes. Slim has been out on trials, to the beach and briefly been exposed to competition environment. This beautiful boy would also be an asset for someone wanting an easy, educated horse to ride out on trails and spoil at home. He has jumped with us however is not a bold horse at all and does not enjoy jumping therefore would not be suited to an eventing or showjumping home. This horse is sweet natured and a valued member of our family however he is a big OTT TB and therefore requires an experienced, confident rider to really enjoy and appreciate him. I am sadly selling Slim as I am going overseas and feel that he would go to waste in the paddock. He is priced reasonably, in paddock condition at $2,500neg to an experienced and loving home.
