Slum dog Millionaires India is said to be land of diversities, as this attribute only because of geographical and cultural concerns, but i meant here by slum dog millionaires-small proportion of economic and powerful (millionaires) vs slum dogs(commons in large) in our population.according to 2011 census Indian population is 1.22 billion. Millionaires: according to Research Institute Global Wealth Report, there are 158000 millionaires for India now that is to 242000 by 2017. according to Forbes report 61 billionaires from India, among first Mukesh ambani (21 billion wealth), Lakshmi mittal,Azim premji..... i am come to the commons in which i included. Slum dogs: it is interesting to note that 25 of Indian billionaires from Mumbai, which famous for its slums like Daravi. Majority of Indian population come, commons, who are away from our governance system but they recognized only by our vote bank politics. I note here some reports, The World Bank reported that 32.7% of the total Indian people fall below the International poverty line of US$ 1.25 per day (PPP) while 68.7% live on less than US$ 2 per day. According to a 2011 poverty Development Goals Report, as many as 320 million people in India and China are expected to come out of extreme poverty in the next four years. The latest UNICEF data shows that one in three malnourished children worldwide are found In India, whilst 42% of the nations children under five years of age are underweight. Why do these Indian majority lay in very pathetic condition even after 65 years of independence of so pronounced democratic country? All answers are conclude to irresponsible governance along with corruption. According to Transparency Internationals corruption perception index, India ranked 94th out of 176 countries.As of December 2008, 120 of Indias 523 parliament members were facing criminal charges.Many of the biggest scandals since 2010 have involved very high levels of government, including Cabinet Ministers and Chief Ministers- 2G spectrum scam,commonwealth games scam, Adarsh housing society scam, coal mining scam, AW helicopter scam...... So think before voting, we need a change that should consider commons- very best.
