Small software company located in Santa Clara is seeking a Software Support Engineer. This role has the responsibility for installing, configuring and supporting several complex applications. Travel is required, and may range from 0% - 50% travel on occasional months. Generally, however, there is less than 25% travel in most months. Responsibilities: Manage the deployment and implementation of software Train customers to use companys produced systems Support customers in using companys software products Assist with quality assurance and documentation Provide pre-sales technical support Qualifications: Experience in the fresh produce industry Experience in training end users how to use software applications, in both remote and face-to-face sessions Experience in software application deployment and server configuration, or related technical skills Experience in a customer support-related position (preferably in software) Experience in project management Your professional skills must include: • Team player and self-starter, with a strong interest in helping achieve team and company goals • Demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills • A proven ability to interface professionally with customers in a support role • Ability to manage and prioritize workload, multi-tasking when necessary • Ability to solve problems systematically and effectively • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Other desired skills: • Experience with grower-accounting or ERP software Please contact me for further information.
