Smiles sure are bigger at DMC! Meet Tassy, our Certified Therapy Dog! Tassy is a 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog who is also a recipient of the Canine Good Citizen Award for providing affection and comfort to individuals in hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities that she visits. Tassy’s owner is Geri Azevedo, a long-time DMC Service League member. Together, they make their rounds on Friday afternoons at DMC where she visits patients in various units throughout the hospital. Tassy sure is the highlight of the day for patients and staff alike. Check out photos from Tassy’s visit last week!
