Snapshot of this day in the Thornquest home (after show week): 1) Mr. and Mrs. slept in and were delivered Moxie in bed by the brother-in-law; and after much loud talking worked out who they are and what they are doing around here. . . 2) Oldest is eating his first meal of the day (mint chocolate chip ice cream, out of the carton) after getting out of bed; at 5:20 pm. 3) Harry Potter marathon on the screen, chai is in the cup, blankies are on the laps. 4) Middle daughter was chaffered home (from work) by surprise, complete with a dozen roses and an invitation to Prom. 5) Dishes and laundry are taking all the hot water, so everyone stinks and has over-producted hair. . . even the boy has eyeliner smudges on his cheeks. 6) Mrs. is cleaning up her music collection of 22,000 songs. 7) Mr. is tinkering on the VW. 8) Carne Asada is marinating in the fridge. 9) The cars are full of Hello Dolly props awaiting their return home. 10) The youngest is lamenting. . . missing her show family, already.
