Snow day today. It has been blasting us with snow on and off all day and will continue through tomorrow. It is a good day to sip tea and make soup. I made 13 bean soup and it was very good and hit the spot on a cold day. the wind chill factor tonight is at 3 degrees. The actual temperature is 27 right now. We have not been outside all day today. The snow plows are out clearing the street and spreading salt for tonight. I am looking forward to going to bed tonight and turning on the electric blanket. We will be staying home from church tomorrow because of the long drive and having to shovel snow in order to get the car out. I think we will just stay warm and safe and clear the snow Monday morning when it is all over. I guess some parts around us will get 13 inches in the storm. I do not know we are included in that or not. If you have to be out in this weather please drive with care. Leave early and drive slow. God is good.
