Snow reported in areas of Wicklow & Dublin Mountains this evening with accumulations on ground above 350m. Latest guidance suggests fractured snowfalls late tonight & overnight at lower levels in all four provinces well away from coasts with minor if not temporary accumulations later tonight in Leinster and Munster with a more widespread and moderate to localised accumulations in the midlands, Connacht and Ulster. Either way tomorrow morning will see very dangerous driving conditions with widespread black ice and or treacherous driving conditions over higher rural road networks throughout the country.
