So - I have been challenged to to list my ten favorite books. I will not censor my answers - do not judge me. Frank Yetter - you asked for it. All time favorite book: Harper Lees To Kill a Mocking Bird (the text I used in Peace Corps....) 2. Fannie Flaggs Fried Green Tomatoes - just a great story 3. Cosette Middletons Behind the Looking Glass (shes my grandma) 4. J.K. Rowlings first Harry Potter Book - so many hours with Cole... 5. Helen Oxenburys Were Going on a Bear Hunt - more fun kid time 6. Margaret Mitchells Gone with the Wind (yes - liked the book more than the movie) 7. Aesops Fables - quite a few of them - I had to translate them into American Sign Language...you put that much work into someone elses stories and theyre bound to grow on you! 8. George Orwells Animal Farm - it still gives me pause... (ha! not paws!) 9. Alice Sebolds The Lovely Bones - I like the balance of horror and hope And only last for formatting reasons so I could share the link in this post, but not last of my choices 10. Moire OSullivan Mud, Sweat and Tears - yes! I know the author - here is a link to her amazing journey - buy it and read it tonight.
