So. 4.20 in the morning, and after being pitifully dragged from sleep by the wail of Christina Aguilera sustaining a particularly high note, and the general hubbub of an army of clumpy boots, the mumbling, hazily distant chatter of a group of astronauts, and what sounded like a fleet of tractors, I obviously think Im in one of those bizarre Im dreaming Ive woken, but Im really still dreaming dreams. But no. Im experiencing the second fire in my block in a matter of months. Now I may be off the mark here, but Im thinking there is a link. And here it is-dogs. Thats right people, mans best friend. First fire caused by the dogs jumping up and accidentally switching the cooker on, second fire I presume caused by the dog being a yappy little ba$tard, causing the flat to spontaneously combust. Beware. Of. Dogs. Theyre out to get us. Ps. Firemen were amazing again, were hanging out all the time now.
