So Arthur came to Quebec to make my trip even more interesting. The video is from before it got bad, there were eventually 3 foot standing waves on the ocean as far as you could see and that flagpole snapped in half. It was pretty much a full on tropical storm. Locals said theyve never seen a storm like it before. Downed trees, flooding, washed out roads and the whole peninsula without power. So I took an unscheduled rest day and hid out in the tiny common room at the municipal campsite in St. Godefroi. There wasnt a whole lot of rain in the mid morning so I took a walk on the beach and checked out all the awesome rocks. Turns out that the storm winds would have actually been a tail wind had I decided to ride in it. Although that would have been a bad idea. Today was beautiful except for a brutal 15 mph headwind. Fortunately today was the flattest day of the trip.
