So, Ethan and I spent the last 2 hours putting together a lego helicopter. Mike is outside snowblowing and as Ethan is about to put on the final piece, he says, Mom, lets let Dad do the honors. Hes outside working hard and it will be a nice surprise for him. He then proceeds to put on his outdoor gear and go help his dad. The helicopter is sitting on the coffee table missing one final piece. I stood looking out the window at the two of them thinking, I could learn a lot about love from the heart of my 7 year old son.
