So, Graham from Crystal Fighters and some close friends started Axis Mundi Records last year to give bands like us a platform to release music, without having to be signed to a major or big indie record label...and now the power is in your hands!! The first instalment (PT.1) of our new album BLACK ANYTHING was recorded in NYCs subways, parks, streets, the Mundi junglehut, and Grahams apartment! Each instalment has been recorded in a different continent, featuring as much local culture and as many local musicians as possible, with each 10” vinyl displaying the continent in which the tracks were recorded. The five vinyls when displayed on top of each other create the globe, unifying the concept as a whole. Each vinyl is an art work and a tribute to the continent it was recorded in. It is being made available worldwide without prejudice to territories. Please help celebrate our first release, and the leap of faith that our Brothers at Axis Mundi Records have taken by joining forces with us. This project is as organic as it gets, where the only people involved have been personally selected due to their wholehearted support.
