So Haley has been begging and pleading with me to wear her sun dresses to school. I have constantly told her no that it was still too cold. Well this morning, she was asking me AGAIN to wear them to school. So since it snowed out I decided to let her decide for herself if she thought wearing a sun dress to school in the snow was a good idea. So I opened the door to the deck and she went outside to play. I felt how cold it was out there and thought, she is going to come back in 10 seconds. Little did I know that the hard-headed gene from me and the Im never wrong gene from her mother would find a way into her DNA. She played in the snow for what seemed 1 hour to me but was more like 30 seconds to a 1 minute in reality. Before the neighbors could see her and call child services on us, I made her come inside. Very upset as I am telling her she still cant wear it. I am not looking forward to the teenage years with her. I love her with all of my heart, but $20 says I die of a brain aneurism by the time she is 16.
