So I am fascinated by Theology! I dont want to do anything else but research and learn. My spirit cant get enough information and Im an open book! I have always wanted to defend my beliefs, but first u must educate your self and know you are solid as a rock in your own understandings. This journey for me has just begun! What I learned today... How many times have you heard this, Christians are always pushing their beliefs on us, they think they are better then everyone. ....Well why do we do mission work In The first place? Is it to be annoying and judgmental? NO!!! The Greek word Apologia means, to make an argued defense for what you believe. ( branch of theology called Christian apologetics.) it does not mean to be sorry or apologize. The key in witnessing is found in Paul. Always be ready to to give defense (apologia)to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.However, do this with GENTELNESS and RESPECT, keeping your conscience clear, so that when you are accused, those who denounce your Christian life will be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be Gods will, than for doing evil. 1Peter 3:15-17. We are told to be ready. Not just believe it bc your parents taught you or you prayed the sinners prayer. Do you KNOW why your a Christian,Muslim,Jew, or agnostic? And if so...why? I have full intention of answering this question for myself as well as for others one day. This is my purpose in life. Feels good knowing Im finally getting somewhere :)
