So, I attended two auditions today, both of which went excellently, and trust me, I not only have high expectation of myself but consider myself a fair critic of my own work. I parked my car in Morrisons in Camden Town, London, changed, took out the fold-up bike Alejandro Toro gave me in exchange for English Lessons, and wore exactly what I did at my first audition only this time I embellished my outfit with a white headband. There must have been 12 people at the recall audition (director, producer, creatives e.t.c) and when they asked me why I had a bike with my own sound system, I just admitted that I thought the stereo they used at the first audition was awful and so I thought Id bring my own (on my bike..).... I did the stuff that Bobak Walker and I had worked on, plus a whole heap of other stuff they asked me to do (including a hand stand on a stool - which I achieved on my fourth attempt with due focus - I didnt even know I could do that). After I cycled to my next audition. In a pub nearby I refocused with a Virgin Bloody Mary, changed into my only suit - with a whole hole in the left knee cap (which I ironed at 4.30am) and when it came to the improvisation with my fellow office colleagues I was totally on the money. A good days work. Unfortunately though, as I had blundered, I would have missed my flight to Romania. Thanks to the gorgeous Jay Proctor my bacon and mind has been saved and tomorrow I expect to be there, finally- at my third attempt. Lastly, guess what........ I have another audition on Wednesday (with a casting director Ive previously seen)! Thank you all for the lovely thoughts, likes and words of encouragement.
