So I checked the internet before i left home this morning and it said my train was working :-) got to the station and its empty and nothing is showing on the platform describer. So I call greater anglia train information and a very cheerful chap speaking from Delhi (i asked him) read me from a script about adverse weather and service disruptions. When he had finished I asked him about my 0653 train and told him that according to the internet is was running but that it wasnt being shown on the describer. He said ah yes the 0653 is unexpected I said you mean expected he said no the 0653 is unexpected I said you mean cancelled he said no unexpected….. I said what exactly do you mean he said the 0653 is unexpected to run and we have no trains until 1200…. I said so their cancelled…. no he said their unexpected.
