So, I finally decided to get up off my lazy ass and go down to the College Advisers of San Antonio College and ask them for a little bit of help. What I originally went in to the advising office was to figure out what to do with my life, what career I should follow and what path I would need to take in order to achieve that. The first man that I met was pretty interesting, and seems to have lived a life of adventure, and hardships; my thinking and his are closely related, and connected somehow. This man, Steve Samet, helped me decide that what I would like to do with my career in the future is manage or run a business or franchise; entrepreneurship. This idea of managing a business came along when he began asking me what my passions were. We came along the gaming idea Ive had in my head forever. But what I love the most about the game I just realized today as I was speaking; I love the ability to start over new, nothing to your name, and build from there by learning skills, being creative, interacting with others, selling your items, selling yourself, and then once you have all that revenue of Gold Pieces coming in, you begin to invest that money into other objectives in the game; lucky or not, you have fun. Lose all of it, or double it; the game is fun as hell. So I decided I want to pursue a career in a field that brings the same excitement to me as my video game does. Business Management/Financing/Administration. That is what I have decided as a major. Now all I have to do is find a passion within that passion. What would I like to market/sell/profit off of? What idea or pure creativity shall I make a life from? - NO IDEA After our small talk he introduced me to another man named James (and Im a little rusty on his last name). This man specializes in psychology, poetry therapy, dream therapy, etc. This man is going to help me discover who I am. He understands my mentality and complex thought processes, he is going to be helping me, and giving me therapy to bring my mind to a calm, controllable, wildness - an atomic bomb in storage if you may. I signed up for free, confidential, therapy with his intern who is willing to meet me almost any time I am free, and will be having regular check-ups on my progress in every day campus/work/LIFE on Mondays. Like-wise, I also signed up for his poetry meeting/club. The poetry club meets once or twice a week and literally writes their hearts onto paper, and then they share with the class their raw emotions or struggles, the class interprets it, gives feedback, and well, if the poetry is good enough, this man, James, is also a certified publisher. He can publish anything into 5 different magazines that are frequently viewed by important people. After talking with the intern about some of my life, and letting them get to know me, I feel a great relief of stress off of my chest. Today and every day from now on feels like it should and will be a great EVERYDAY :D Thank you for all my supporters, family, friends, and everything. I LOVE EVERYONE o..o Jules Parker-Garza - and Javi Bryan Parker - and Nana George Tabares - and Kimberly! Kevontray Edmond Michael Pleasants - and all his awesome statuses that make me smile on a daily basis @EVERYONE ELSE THAT I DIDNT MENTION - Youre all equally important to me; the above listed are my main motivation though ;)
