So... I get a message in my inbox (not mentioning any names since we still have mutual friends) telling me that my faith and God posts are ridiculous and that since I am no longer the same person its best that we just go our own ways (and he of course deleted me). Well I thought about it a little and here is where I stand on said subject and to anyone else who feels the same way... Youre right, IM NOT the same person. Im fine with that. And although Im not perfect I dont try and go around acting like I am. The main change in my life is finding that special someone this past year and absolutely falling in love. God. Its no different then someone posting about a significant other they love and cherish. It doesnt make me lame or less cool that I choose to thank God. I dont do it to make myself look better. Its just the same as you saying thank you to your girlfriend for having dinner. I like to thank God for giving me my life and a seat next to him in the next. (And when I do find that special someone I will thank her for making me dinner too lol) My posts are the same as most of your relationship posts. I heard a quote that Im going to change around a bit and make it my own... Im not trying to offend anybody. If You dont want to be my friend because I found God then thats a shame. As far as my praying to Jesus... my life and my WHOLE eternity belongs to God... All this stuff is temporary. My car, my money, my possessions, my job... temporary. Even life is temporary... Jesus... thats eternal. But whoever denies me before men, I will deny him before my Father in heaven. Since those words were written in red, Im pretty sure they were important.
