So I get to my hotel here in New Orleans at 1:00 CDT and attempt to check in. They inform me that credit card on file still needs to be authorized. I am asked, is there someone you can call? (please note time above) After paying a partial cash deposit until morning, they give me a room key. I head up with all my luggage, open the door and guess what? There is someone already in there. I go back to the desk and they tell me all the other rooms are filled...except for the living room portion of a suite. So I have to sleep on a pull out coach.
