So I got home from work and went to see Samuel (SPRC foster) in his room and NO SAMUEL!!! I could hear him meowing but nothing!!! Screens in place-check, cupboards are empty- check... Not in any closets... Not upstairs.. I cannot tell where the meowing is coming from!!! By this time I am in full panic mode! Not under the bed.. Not behind the dresser... But WAIT!!! Is that the heater vent slightly askew???? Oh no!!! Now Im thinking who can I call to get a cat out if the heater vent??? How far down is he? Is he stuck??? Hurt??? Injured??? My mind was going in a million different directions! So I ventured down to the basement... A place I seldom go willingly... Open the door... And guess who greets me all full of cobwebs??? Yup my little escape artist Samuel!!! Thank god he was fine... And the heater vent??? Securely in place and never again to b used as an escape hatch!!! Little stinker!
